ABOUT
Inspired by the flora and fauna that surround my home in the small, unincorporated town of Thorp, WA, I create delicate mixed-media sculptures and small-scale egg tempera paintings. As a founding member of PUNCH Gallery, an artist-run space in downtown Seattle, WA, I remain active in the regional art scene. I received a BFA in metalsmithing from Colorado State University in 1995 and an MFA in sculpture from Central Washington University in 1999.
Living in rural Central Washington I put my master gardener skills to work in my own backyard, hunt for mushrooms, backpack in the woods of the northwest, and enjoy exploring cultures different from my own.
